Beautifully Owned by Us is a nonprofit dedicated to empowering and uplifting underrepresented beauty and health businesses. Founded in 2020, we provide educational resources, financial support, and community connections so these businesses have a sustainable platform to grow.
We exist for the stylists, estheticians, wellness practitioners, and founders who have always had the talent and never had the runway. We are here to change that.

Mentors play a powerful role in helping people grow personally, professionally, and confidently within the beauty, health, and wellness industries. If you have experience, wisdom, or simply a heart for uplifting others, we would love to have you.
Apply to mentor
What mentors do
- Meet with your mentee virtually or in person
- Offer encouragement, accountability, and guidance
- Share industry insight, life experience, or business advice
- Support personal and professional goal setting
- Be a positive, empowering role model
You don't need all the answers. You just need to show up.
Time commitment
- Flexible scheduling around your life
- Typically one to two check-ins per month
- A minimum commitment of six months
- Orientation and ongoing support provided

- Anyone strong in personal or professional growth
No prior mentoring experience required.
